A calmer way to approach a property transaction

Property deals move more smoothly when title, use, and the written conditions are checked before anyone treats the transaction as finished.
Buyers and sellers usually need to know what is being transferred, which conditions still have to be met, and what the documents say about risk between signing and completion.
Ask who is responsible for a defect discovered after signing, whether the property can be used for the purpose you have in mind, and what happens if a condition is not met by the agreed date. Those answers should be in the contract, not only in the conversation.
